Gonzo (ゴンゾウ) is a golfer that was first introduced in the Japanese version of Hot Shots Golf 3. He is one of the three default characters in the game, with the other two being Billie and Satoru. Gonzo makes returns in Minna no Golf Online and the Japanese and Europe version of Hot Shots Golf Fore! but as an unlockable character. In American version of Hot Shots Golf 3, he is replaced by Pete.

Gonzo hops up and balances on his putter that is held up by a tiny alien in a similar fashion to one of Lin's/Ling's Eagle celebrations. However, the putter bends under Gonzo's weight, and he falls down while a UFO flies off into distance. (Minna no Golf Online and Japanese and European versions of Hot Shots Golf Fore! only)
