Ratchet is the protagonist of Insomniac Games's Ratchet & Clank series, with two installments developed by High Impact Games. He makes an appearance in Hot Shots Golf Fore! as an unlockable guest golfer. His drive and control are really good, but his impact is a bit poor. Despite that, he is one of the best golfers in the game due to not suffering from fade or draw.

- Ratchet, (along with Jak), are only featured in the North American and European versions of the Hot Shots Golf Fore!.
- This also marks their first actual crossover game with each other. They would soon meet again in Ratchet: Deadlocked, Jak X: Combat Racing, ModNation Racers, PlayStation Move Heroes, and PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
- Ratchet's appearance is based on his original look from the first Ratchet & Clank game. This design would later appear as an unlockable skin in Up Your Arsenal and in Size Matters as his default look once again.
- Ratchet shares his North American voice actor with Kent from Hot Shots Tennis.
